I only want to clarify a point, with due respect it looks like you
often lose the discussion axis, I never wrote that I liked every
photographer I mentioned in the list, it was a list written from
memory to answer an Eric's post point. Diane Arbus is not one of my
preferred photographers, Rollei or not Rollei, anyway I like a few of
her shots. The same way and despite Ansel Adams opinion on the TLR, I
like a lot his work and he is one of my preferred photographers, I'm
talking about his photographs..

PS:When I wrote about Mapplethorpe I wrote he had a good photographic
technique, I did not disqualify him from a technical point of view as
you did regarding Avedon.
