[rollei_list] OT: Ansco Reflex Camera and Spades

No Allen, I do not long for those days. But neither do I see much virtue in a
climate not daring to call a spade a spade nor using any other word that starts
with S because it could also elicit a response to gender (sex) issues as well
as race issues. Not to mention a reference to those who are challenged by a
card playing deficiency within their personalities who for no fault on tyheir
part fall prey to preditory nature of commerce in the USA as illustrated by Las
Vegas. Las Vegas......once again, a reference which is demeaning to women (show
girls); Indians (their land); the terrible American diet (cheap buffets);
ecological disorder (poor use of water resources); immorality (prostitution)
and just think of the seondary smoke!!! Gosh, when you think about it, Las
Vegas, like the term spade just sums up all that is wrong with America.

And to think that all this started because of a discussion involving lookism
finding its origin in Ansco. You see! In that one company going defunct, so
many insults to modern sensibilities--and virtue!-- are eliminated.
