Just picked up 20 Rollei 77 Magazines filled with 6x6 slides mounted in GEPE
glass mounts at a recyling store.
It was not quite a “Vivian Maier”-moment in terms of the quality of the images,
mostly typical family and tourist shots. But still an interesting “time
capsule” with some pictures of 1970s Bonn, Vietnam protest etc.
One picture did reveal the camera used in the photographer’s reflection in a
glass ball - an original Rollei SL66 with the chimney meter hood!
I will let you know if there’s anything else of interest in there. Only got
through about 120 slides so far.
