I never said the man was logical. He claimed at various times to have
a PhD in psychology, but I seriously doubt that. He was into big
Cadillac cars and guns, and once threatened to shoot me if I ever came
anywhere near where he lived.
Sounds like his wife is a decent person. Like I said, I never met her.
Romney was one of the writers for Shutterbug when I took over running
it. He always believed that I was responsible for him being fired, but
it was Glenn's decision after some of the threatening letters. I
wasn't sad to see him go, since editing his writing so it made sense
was a nightmare every month.
As far as not saying anything bad about the dead, I don't know why not.
When I learned of Ed's death my only reaction was one of relief,
knowing that I'd not suffer any more of his verbal abuse. If his wife
loved him, I am sorry for her loss.
