Hi Slo -
The contrast range was somewhat disappointing, especially after having handled a Rollei since I was 8 years old.
Which Rollei? I've owned quite a few over the years, and they all had different contrast characteristics...
Sharpness was on par with the Calumet 4x5 lenses of the time, which isn't saying much, but adequate to its tasks.
Ok, interesting. I believe in your last post, you stated that the lenses were very sharp...
The whites were either flat, or somewhat blown out when the lighting ratios exceeded the limits of the materials.
Slo, you are a kidder... This statement belongs in the Irwin Corey hall of fame! Too funny! Eric Goldstein --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx- Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org
