Popping open each side, front panel for the shutter and side panel
for the travel mechanism, is about $125.00 from a competent mechanic.
However, if price is a consideration, have you thought of a Seagull.
After all it's modern optics are on par if not better than a post
WWII low end Rollei.

Hi,
I bought a Rolleiflex MX-EVS 10 months ago. Got it for $30. But it has shutter problem. Today i checked with Krimar Photo for a CLA, they told me it would cost $300 to do a good job. Apparently there is a misalignment in addition to shutter issue. In my opinion it is not worth it to pay $300 when i cant sell it for more than $150.
I am thinking of doing the repair myself. Is it easy to do it? does any one here have a repair manual?
I am more interested in adjusting just the shutter speed.
