Greetings all:
Just a few comments to add regarding voicing on older analog Rodgers:
The 725 I used to play had a LaScala, two P32's and a bunch of M13 Cabinets
on it. When it was installed, we too fell for the idea of putting the reeds
through the La Scala. I swapped things around a bit and re-voiced the organ
recently. The BEST sound by far was produced when the flutes were channeled
through the La Scala, and the Reeds / Strings (Swell Organ) into M13's
These cabinets have / had a very good way with Reeds and Principals too.
But I was most impressed with the way the Klipsch handled the Flutes. I
imagine that on a Theatre organ of similar vintage this would be the way to
go as well.
Cheers,
