Rodgers can do it....and going to 4 manuals gives you a lot of leeway as far as the opportunity to build an incredible solo division. I'd suggest exactly what you are talking about....filling out the existing instrument of three manuals with more digital to fully complete its tonal design and then add the solo. Also, since the Great is rather complete as I remember it, how about placing the digital great at the other end of the church and voice it differently....a full antiphonal great! Carlo, the tuning issue was once a serious obstacle, overcome by the Tuning Knob, however with the myriad of tuning and random tuning available in the Rodgers, it is quite possible to install a digital instrument in a pipe organ that rarely, if ever, needs any tuning at all.
