There's a tape/CD called "Let The Organs Thunder" featuring glorious music performed by the William Ferris Chorale, Thomas Weisflog, organist, brass, percussion, two wonderful organs at a church near Chicago, etc...sorry, it's at church so I can't give you the label info...anyhow, they do a spectacular arrangement of the Widor Toccata, with the choir singing stately alleluias while the instruments light fires with Widor. If you have a choir, instrumentalists, etc., get the choral arrangement and sing it next year. If you don't have a choir, maybe even if you do, set up a stereo rig or play it through your PA system, or pump it through your Rodgers speakers...while you play along, of course. Do it as a prelude/postlude. Merely stupendous!
