See, more people need to obtain the Cal Pyro Rockets Class 3! Some people have
done some work on this and I encourage you to get’r done. Contact David Smith
and he will help you. The study material and test are not that difficult.

Lucerne Dry Lake is a special place for many of us. I’ve even considered
asking for my ashes to be sprinkled at the lakebed. But, the place is so
darn dusty already and I would probably just end up in Barstow.

Maybe someone in his group has a health concern and wants to avoid crowds.
Maybe he's in a position to "create a memory" and doesn't want some of the
situations encountered at an organized launch, like lines.
Maybe that weekend is his only available window to do this.
Guess I should have worked harder to get licensed.

the weather is probably not going to be any different. Or, FAR; that launch
is just the next weekend.
Curious if anyone knows Terry. I’m interested in helping and wouldn’t ask
for any compensation, but I’m not sure about the need for a special launch.
What do others think about this? Has anyone already contacted him?
