Wedge-🤦♂️
Bad pun. However I agree. I use a Stratologger and RRC in “Cancer Sucks”

I feel it’s better to have two different, from two different manufactures.
Assuming there is a set of circumstances that effects and causes the altimeter
to fail.
One manufacture may not correct for it; or it may only be corrected in one
altimeter.
1 manufacture and 1 altimeter gives you a 50/50. Not effected/Is effected.
If 1 altimeter is effected; having two of the same means they will both be
effected by the same circumstances.
It is likely the manufacture will use the same firmware engineer for both of
his products. Therefore it is likely the circumstances that caused altimeter A
to fail; are likely to be repeated in altimeter B.
Two Manufactures, Two different altimeters. Unless you’re using Olsen
altimeters and you just wanna say “Look honey, The Olsen Twins”.

Just checking peoples philosophy, if you have a redundant altimeter, better to
have;
a) 2 identical ones (Stratologger CF - Stratologger CF )
b) 2 different ones, each from different manufactures (I.E. Stratologger CF -
RRC3)
c) 2 different ones, same manufactures (I.E. RRC2 and RRC3)
d) doesn't matter any combination works

Well, hopefully Chris got my email and placed his order. Perfectflite Direct
had CF's in stock for a couple hours. Now showing out of stock again. :-(

Chris,
Seems like waiting for SLCF's to become available is like hunting for snipe ;-)
In the meantime, I'd recommend trying Eggtimer's Quantum. Pick up an Apogee
and a Quark while you're at it.
