APRS is a specific data format. In the US, people have standardized on
using 144.390 Mhz for the distributed network of receivers and
digipeaters. The product I recommend for rocketry actually runs on the
70cm band. As long as you have an appropriate receiver tuned to the right
frequency, you can use any frequency you'd like!

frequencies and APRS is typically on one frequency, 144.390 MHz IIRC. Is
Beeline APRS or a different format? If it is APRS shouldn't it be on the
same frequency?
