I think you have to maximize the new message window every time but, you
shouldn't have to do this. I find myself having to refresh the screen much
more with this version of JAWS. I'll stick my kneck out again and get it
chopped off. To me it feels irresponsible of them to have released this
version with this level of focus problems just to have a new version ready
for the conventions. I know the testing on this version was very extensive
but the fact remains that there are serious issues. The new install and
update manager is much slower and doesn't give the same level of user
feedbac.

Well, in OE, when I backspace to correct an error, jfw only says blank. It
does not read what I'm backspacing over. Also, when trying to navigate
around a message I am composing, it will read the same line over and over
and not be in the place it says it is when I go to insert text. Not to
mention it doesn't work with BearShare either, so...I'm back with 7.0 for
awhile.
