It has never been a problem for me when I've let my sighted family members use
my phone with the triple-click off used.

Kim, that is not true. When you turn off Voiceover with triple click home, the
gestures return to normal until you triple click home and invoke voiceover
again. I have lots of experience with this.

It's under accessibility--same place as the iPhone. There are significant
disadvantages, however, for setting up tripple click home on the phone/iPad of
a sighted person. This is because even when voice over is not invoked, the
voice over gestures still apply.

I thought it was in the same place as the pone, not under voiceover, but under
accessibility. But I don't have an IPad to check.

I was helping my mom with her iPad. she turned VO on for me, but I didn't see
anywhere in the settings to set home button to turn VO on/off. Does the iPad
have this feature too like the phone?
