Hi Patrick, Glad to see you on the list. I also use one of the Olympus digital recorders from RadioShack. it's fine for taking voice notes and only costs $39. You can't hook it up to the computer and it doesn't talk or play MP3s but, it's very accessible just by the beeps. You have 3 folders that hold 100 messages each and at least 4 hours of total recording time. It's just a basic small digital recorder useful for phone numbers and notes and such.
