I miss-spoke regarding the legs in my last email. I meant to say that yesterday
I had cut and assembled an additional 12 legs. I will be @ Rob Johnson's
tomorrow evening to chamfer all 29 legs. The 12 extra legs cost ~$110.
Wood blocks have been glued on all 7 modules for mounting the terminal strips.
Today terminal strips have been mounted on 3 of 7 modules. In addition, the bus
wiring and track power feeders are wired on those 3. I'll be continuing with
the wiring early tomorrow morning. The rain has me shut-down for now.
My goal is to have all modules pre-wired and standing on legs prior to the next
meeting.
After the meeting, and working together I sincerely think we can lay the track
in 2-3 hours (tops). I'm 99.9% sure we have all the track pieces we need. If
need be, I can run home and raid my stash if necessary.
Items that are "Still to buy":
(12) 2 1/2" C clamps (reduced from my initial estimate)
Plastic toolbox to store the clamps
Extension cord w/reel
(8) 1x4x6' each cut in half to make 16 Plexiglas barriers (we already have the
cut Plexiglas)
Velco for mounting skirts (we already have the skirts, thank you Kevin)
Scenery: Foam ground cover, streets, glue, ballast
At our last meeting we discussed Menards buildings for this layout. None have

I am looking forward to our next meeting. We are closing in on the original $2K
budget.
