Hello,

For the moment, when a server model don't exist in the dictionary, a user can add it (with an id > 50000), eventually request it to be added on the Mailing List, and in a future release he will have is user dictionary entry and the release one, allowing him to migrate is objects to the system one and then delete the user entry.

Would-it be possible to dissociate the release of the ractable software, and releases of the dictionary to have something like a dictionary updated by the users communauty ?

the idea would be :
- the current dictionary list would be downloadable on racktable site (as a database update script) - when a user want to add a new type he add it on racktable via via an html form
   - then his new object type is in the downloadable list

What do you think ?

Regards,
