I recently found out that there is a recording mechanism provided by
out-of-sight.net.
You start and stop recording by pressing alt-r.
I have had no luck in retrieving a recording yet.
Which is kind of the objective of recording.
There was some indication that you needed, or at least could,
Use out-of-sight.net playing capability
Which they provide ... at least I would hope so.

Hi. I agree with your asessment, but time zones is the contrebuting factor
even though improved communication technology has rendered some help, and time
differences is, unfortunately something we can't alter. I myself am living in
a time zone 12 hours ahead of some of you who reside in the US EST time zone.
7 pm Saturday your time is 7 AM sunday my time, for example, so while I wish I
can attend the meetings, I know that it is not too practical most times due to
family and all that, so recordings seem to be the next best choice..

This is my personal opinion only: The group meetings just might be one of the
best tools we will have, in which we can get immediate feedback or help and
suggestions from those who are more experienced. I cannot imagine anyone not
wanting to participate. To me, this would be like taking a class and not
participating in lectures and interactive studies. Without planning to attend
any of the interactive meetings, held twice a week in order to accommodate
those who cannot attend, let's say, Thursday evening's meeting, but can attend
Monday afternoon's, you might as well learn it through self study methods. I
might use recordings as a review tool only, and would never use them as a
crutch.
