What is the steering pivot made of?The bearings are made of two pieces of Igus QFM-3034-37. they are fixed in own-drilled Aluminium-Headsets. In the center is a 30x1 mm Steelaxle. In this is pressed two aluminium Inlays whitch are fixed with a 10mm screw in the middle. That's all :-))Hooray - finally someone who dares to use the Igus stuff for the central pivot! If this works out fine in the long run, it will be the lightest pivot material ever. Keep us in the loop Mark, Jürgen.
