I have not had any problems with zip-lock bags, but for long-term
non-use, I unzip them. When carrying them around outside, I zip them up.
Now, if I expected a great temperature drop and closed them up in a
warm, humid environment, I might worry. In my case, they are inside my
camera backpack, and the zip-lock bags are wrapped in those padded
Calumet wrappers to protect from shock, but they probably slow down
temperature change as well. Besides, when I expect it to get really
cold, I stay home.
