I think it's lawsuit-avoidance, pure and simple. If they put a
warning on it, no one can claim they weren't warned after they eat a
pound or two of it and suffer liver or kidney failure.
Sorry to be so cynical, but when you have to put a warning on hot
coffee to tell people it's hot, well....
