Sorry to add one more post to that OT exchange... I would advise calling the Animal Poison Hotline if that happens to your dog - our dog Pastis found some chocolate under the Christmas tree and ate quite a bit. We called, they asked questions about what type of chocolates, how much, our dog's weight, and did their calculations - very professional. He's big enough that it wasn't a big problem. They charge $50 but it put our minds to ease at least.
