35mm Tough, but OM2, with 21mm 3.5 and 135mm
Reason its light and understated. Does what it does with no fuss, no muss.
Quite, unobtrusive.
6x6 Rollei 6006 With working batteries. Lenses 50mm Distagon, 150mm Sonnar.
The shutter, and wind on sound has such authority.
4x5 Linhof Super Technica IV, with 90mm angulon, and Komura Comercial 210mm.
Pan-F, all formats. Possibly Ilford FP4.
Notes: The exercise is in slimming down existing gear, so I’m not saying these
are the best choices for each of these formats.
None of these kits cost me over $400. The Rollie was sold as an SLX, because it
had an SLX viewfinder, and the Linhof required a huge amount of stripping down
and cleaning to get working at all.
The Komura I had to re-cement an element in, so there is a sense of loyalty
involved.
Film choice, I buy job lots of old film and enjoy the challenge. I’ve long ago
given up the dream of becoming a great photographer, and settled for being
someone who loves taking photographs and fixing cameras. I’m equally competent
at both.

Films: Ilford FP4+, Tri-X
I'd actually prefer Fomapan 200 or Efke 100 over the FP4+ (both are 200
speed films) BUT...
Fomapan in 120 has major quality issues and Efke is no longer made.
What say you all?
