Hi Robert -
They cover the late 1990s through about 2007.
There IS a problem with dates in the filenames and even within the HTML version
of the files.
When the old majordomo archives were converted years ago for archiving with the
"mailman"
mailing list manager, it messed up some of the dates. So, you will see
filenames and even
dates within messages in the range of 1900-2027. No, I did not invent time
travel,
this is an artifact of the many iterations of this stuff that have been laying
around.
This would be a good "cleanup and reorganize" project for an IT intern or
college student :)

I would suggest you scan the files individually with Avast to see if there
might still be a virus lurking. If you find one it claims is infected,
I can rescan here with different tools to see if I can confirm or
refute.
