A few people loved TMX in Rodinal 1+50 or 1+100 (both 35mm and 120)
I would run a test to determine effective speed first.

I would never think to try it. If I wanted a good general-purpose film
with fine grain, I would use TMX in something like Xtol. I might try
D-76. Perhaps either one at 1+1 with water.

If I wanted grainy results, I suppose I would try a developer like
Rodinal. And a grainy film like 2475 (if they still make it).

I cannot imagine using TMX with Rodinal any more than I would try to get
fine grain out of 2475 with Microdol X.
