Of the things I used to mix in my youth, ammonia and bleach was one of the more
benign.
And compared to other neighborhood members of the
Young Chemists Assoc., Stinks and Bangs Section,
I was a woosie.

Pharmacist: What for?
Kid: My fish, they have 'ick', I'm supposed to put permanganate in the tank
Pharmacist: A half pound!?
Kid: It's a big tank...
