Question for Richard. Do you have a formula for DK-60a replenisher some where in your treasure trove of information?

Howard

Kodak had two replenishers for DK-60a. The published formula is for general use but they had a second version for use with continuous machine processing which was available only in packaged form. Here is the first, there is no published formula for the second but it was probably somewhat more concentrated since it assumed less carryover of developer.

Kodak DK-60aTR For Deep Tank (Hand Processing).

Water, at about 125F or 52C 750.0 ml
Metol 5.0 grams
Sodium sulfite, dessicated 50.0 grams
Hydroquinone 10.0 grams
Kodalk 40.0 grams
Cold water to make 1.0 liter

Dissolve chemicals in order given.

The general instuctions of the time were to add 1.0 oz of replenisher for each 80 square inches of film. Specific instructions for DK-60aTR are to add 8 gallons of replenisher per 1000 rools of film processed, obviously aimed at machine processing. These replenishing rates assume the total volume is kept constant.
