Yes, ID-11 and D-76 really are the same, as are NACCO Super 76 concentrate. I usually use ID-11 or Nacco super 76, I try to use Nacco because like ILFOTEC-HC it's a highly concentrated liquid, that you make a stock solution
from, so A bottle goes along way.

They are not quite the same nor are they the same as the published formulas. I have no idea how much, if any, this affects the performance. NACCO Super 76 is a Phenidone and hydroquinone developer. I think years ago it was similar to Kodak D-76 but is no longer so. It is probably closer to Ilford Microphen than to either of the above. Microphen is a D-76 _type_ developer using Phenidone and hydroquinone in a buffered solution. See the NACCO MSDS for confirmation. Ilfotec-HC is probably similar to Kodak HC-110 but may not be identical. It is intended to serve the same purpose, namely as a highly concentrated general purpose film developer. The problem with MSDS is that they are legal rather than technical or scientific publications and can obscure the contents as much as elucidate them.
