Fixed in Kodak fixer for 5 min. Washed for 25 min, like i do all other
films. This alone holds the hue of the dye.
You can Try to use kodak wash aid
the purplish hue is indeed a rest of the anti halo layer
you also have it with recent kodak film
longer fixing or better using kodak fixer and kodak wash aid will help

So, I attempted to bleach away the purplish hue on the fixed film - no
dice. I suspect this is some kind of anti-halation or anti-piping dye,
but I've never seen one that would not wash away. The film does not
exhibit any of the horrid curl problems seen with Rollei Retro 120.
I still need to do some densitometer tests to check FB+F as compared to
APX 100.
I did print some negs today and it's a quite lovely film. No discernible
grain on an 8x10 print from a 6x9 negative developed in DK-50 1:1.
(I would expect none at that small degree of magnification.) It pretty
much behaves like I'd expect an ASA 100 traditional grain film to behave.
It has a nice long tonal scale and holds highlights well when exposed and
developed properly. Certainly, the "look" is closer to APX 100 than, say,
Plus-X.
If only they made this in 4x5 ...
