RC paper ages better if it has some developer in it. Ilford MG IV RC has a
very little amount. Problem is if there is a large amount of ID in the
paper it can migrate through the resin into the support where it gets stuck
forever. ......doesn't get washed out when processing. So unless there is
an antioxidant in the paper fibers the paper will turn pinky / yellow with
time. The only manufacturers that had the anti-oxidant was Kodak and Agfa.
But Agfa took the AO out to save money (retirees were not consulted) not
knowing why it was there and learned the hard way.

As far as I know, Ilford MG-IV RC has no incorporated developer.
It is easy to find out. Make a solution of household soda or any other alkali and put a strip exposed paper in it. It will get black quickly if it has embedded developer. A strip Agfa MCP in 10% NaOH (I had this on hand) takes about 2s for deepest black.
