[pure-silver] Cleaning Plexiglas

I just acquired a couple large light boxes and there's some ANCIENT tape
residue on the plexi in several places I'd like to get off.
I've tried Goo Gone, Oops, and mineral oil without much luck. Anyone have
another suggestion or technique using any of the afore mentioned products?
