I was approached by the UK staff of a huge publishing conglomerate based in Switzerland to donate a few images for a book of theirs. No pay offered, just great exposure, which is a crock. I did let them use a few, and the reproductions are very nice. But when did it become acceptable for million-dollar international businesses to ask for handouts from individuals who create content? What's wrong with paying a few hundred dollars so they can hold their heads up in public? regards, --le ________________________________ Lloyd Erlick Portraits, Toronto. voice: 416-686-0326 email: portrait@xxxxxxxxxxxx net: www.heylloyd.com ________________________________ -- ============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
