Hi Janine,
Just for information, the manual was written prior to the release of the new
features but you can read the on-board help relating to the sections you
mention. Do the following:
1. Press the Number 0 key to go into Help mode
2. Use normal DAISY navigation to go to the appropriate chapters (on mine
with Version 5 installed, it is Chapters 12 and 13).
3. Read as much or as little as you want.
4. Press the Number 0 key again to exit Help mode.

That sounds good John. It was one of the questions I asked Plextor and
waiting to hear back.
They mentioned that there were differences between the Australian version
and others when I pointed out to them that the manual was missing the
podcasts and web radio chapters. I can't see any differences but I have
asked what differences and I am waiting on a reply. I don't want to void the
warranty and break the unit, don't think that will happen, but will wait for
an official okay to over-ride the firmware.

Hey: I think you can put any update on a PTP1 you choose, unless you
have a Japanese one. You can put the U.S. version 5.03 on your
Australian one if you like. John
