Hi Rein,

The database approach sounds great. I want to keep the weather station and pskmail server with the same call. I did choose WB5CON-1 for my recently commissioned javAPRSSrvr IGate/Digi so it would not conflict.

Good to see some more north american servers showing up. Maybe N0PWZ and N0CAL will get their lat/lon corrected soon.

Fred,

Your record is written over by your WX aprs station which is also called WB5CON, and does not have pskmail in the status field.

As soon as you rename either of the two you will be o.k.

To prevent this from happening in future I am preparing our own database,
which will show all pskmail stations, also the ones who don't have 'pskmail' in the status field.

So don't worry, you will be listed. Here is the actual data of this moment:
(see http://homebase.pskmail.org/getpskmail.php)
2007-04-03 10:17:05,PI4TUE,51.446666,5.486833,S,&,PSKmail-0.3.0 test
2007-04-03 10:16:29,N5ALE,30.270666,-94.254500,S,&,PSKmail-0.2.9.5
2007-04-03 10:16:05,VE7SUN,49.023333,-123.06850,S,&,PSKmail-0.3.0 test
2007-04-03 10:14:26,WB5CON,34.932500,-88.509833,S,&,PSKmail-0.3.0 test
2007-04-03 10:11:18,PA0R,51.374000,5.336500,C,U,pskmail 0.3.0
2007-04-03 10:09:24,SM0RWO,59.225333,18.163000,S,&,PSKmail-0.3.0 Server
2007-04-03 09:08:22,SM0RWO-1,61.209666,14.553500,C,@,PSKMail client
2007-04-03 01:39:14,N0PWZ,51.446666,5.486833,S,&,PSKmail-0.2.0 test

Now we need Per to connect this to the map.
But let him finish his vacation first :)

Hi Per,

This is a great idea! However, I have been having problems with my server showing up. It is connected to T2TUENL and puts out 'PSKmail-0.3.0 test' every ten minutes, but is not showing up on your web page. I don't know why. I can restart the server and it will show up for a few minutes, then it disappears, but is still connected to T2TUENL

Hi all,

I have been experimenting with a page that displays recent aprs pos
reports from pskmail stations. Its looking for "pskmail" within the
status field so it doesn't show stations that remove that from the aprs
beacon. Data comes from APRS World, which has been really very helpful. The page is here: http://www.crusefalk.se/pskmailers/index.php

Its still rather experimental and I will improve it, be prepared that it
can take a few seconds to load. Suggestions for improvement are welcome.
