Thank you for replying, Per

Yours is the only reply that I have gotten.

I had previously found (and read) the pdf.

Just now did a word search on it

and there is no mention of the word ‘peer’.

In our application we do not plan to use servers

because we do not expect them to survive

the catastrophe for which we are preparing.

See: www.webpal.org

We are set upon PSK –

and peer-to-peer mail sounds interesting –

but we don’t know if:

a. it will be complicated for people to implement

b. we should be using ‘63’ – ‘250’ – or ‘500’

c. if any of this is even possible for us

using the low power (less than 10 watts)

single band transceivers

that we plan to have the members of the net obtain.

Any insight or further sources that you can provide on this –

will be greatly appreciated.

Peace and love,

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

As I'm Swedish I don't know what you wish to accomplish but whatever it
is I am sure pskmail can help with the communication side of things. As
we have been working on this system for a number of years it is capable
and does require a bit of reading and learning. You can compare it to
Maslow's famous hierarchy of needs, in order to reach the higher levels
you have to take care of the basic needs. We have tried to collect
information about all those basic needs for pskmail in a manual and I
recommend that you start there. Its available online from several
sources and its on my server here:
http://www.crusefalk.se/jpskmailinstall/jpskmail_manual.pdf

Once you have the basics up and running you can easily create a peer to
peer connection, its just a matter of typing what station to connect to.
