Thing about the DoV question is that it could easily fall under several different headings.

While this is true, I think it would look a lot better, and keep the overall thing smaller, if, rather than repeat over and over, simply answer the question once, then, if need be, point to that answer anywhere else the question may come up.

The question only appears twice on the rules-based FAQ page, and twice on the Newsletter Excerpts page. Since they overlap by design (one is sorted chronologically by publication date, the other is the same information sorted by Topic), the way it is presented is the most logical. I don't see that it adds lots of extra text to the overall document.

Regarding FFTD Sect. 181:
It may not be a bad idea to leave the question, and paste the footnote in as the answer. For all that everyone who visits PA most likely has downloaded the PA versions of the books, we shouldn't assume that they all use the electronic versions exclusively.

If we're going to take that tack, there are other questions that relate to specific numbered sections that should be re-added to the Rules-based FAQ and the Newsletter Excerpts pages from this thread on the forum: <http://projectaon.proboards30.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1113601814> Jon's initial decision was not to include them because they should be footnoted in the relevant sections anyway, but you might be able to change his mind with the argument that someone might be reading a published copy of the books and stumble on the RH rules questions.

Bear in mind that things still need to be added to the online wiki (the Freeway Warrior and New Order rules), so you will need to revise it at some point in the future. ;-)

Yes, I know.I was actually going to ask about that. So, uh, about that? Anyway. . .

FW is about 99% complete. I was just awaiting final publication so that the actual text of the RH can be identical to the revised text of Highway Holocaust. The NO rules could be added quickly if we can get hold of the scanned text of the rules for Book 21. Since all the Improved NO Disciplines text has already been compiled, we only need the text from one of the NO books, though the most obvious Errata changes would need to be made immediately (eg -> e.g., ie -> i.e., and so on).

And the linking. All that linking! ;-)

I'd be happy to do what I can with it to try to help out. I can't swear as to how fast I'll get any of it done, but I'll try.

I'd really like to get the NO rules up ASAP so that you can start without having to do a major revision in the future, though some NO stuff will possibly need to be added to the Topical Guide. Can anyone out there think of any ambiguity in the NO rules? FWIW, I think they are the least ambiguous of the entire LW series, and Joe seems to have been going out of his way to make things clear.
