Ugh! That's pretty grotty. :-/
It didn't look bad at this end--I would definitely have noticed--but it would certainly be best to
alter the font, wouldn't it. I've updated the file to use Cambria throughout for Chapter titles and
reuploaded it. The link is the same as in my original post.
OTOH, the book titles are rendered flawlessly. It seems the Souvenir
font isn't of very high (and expensive) quality.
Thanks for the feedback. The low quality of my copy of the Souvenir font is something to bear in
mind for future reference.
