real mess of bad links, orphaned sections, etc. Things really seem to go
haywire after sections 135 and 227.

* 28 (cycles back to 227?)
* 304 (cycles back to 227?)
If anyone has some time to help verify that this matches the published
book (or not) and suggest how to straighten things out, that would be a
huge help.
