LOL -- well I think one solution would be to do like the spanish speakers do
and adapt spellings to fit the language rather than try to preserve the
spellings of every foreign (see that spelling?) word that comes into popular
use. Heck, they even change the spellings of names.
Happy spelling.

Sina, I know it is linux. I spelled it the way the original poster had
spelled it in the subject line, which is wrong. I only intended to point out
the error, but didn't make that clear in my message I guess.
I'm actually a big stickler for spelling. I was a spelling bee contestant
many times as a chile, and after decades of reading huge print with a cctv,
I generally had much opportunity to see and commit to memory the spellings
of many words.

So now you can all feel free to shoot at me if I spell something
wrong...*smile*
Happy hacking.

Laura, I agree, which is why I'm correcting your spelling to, "Linux" as in
L I N U X. it is not spelled as "Lynix".

Also as for lynx versus links. I can actually tell the difference but it is
a subtle one with eloquence, which is why folks say either, the cat, or, the
chain, after the word lynx or links, such as lynx the cat, when discussing.

Take care,
Sina
