I see Rick is helping you so I won't jump in unless you guys don't get
things going but one thing I do want to mention.  VB if you use the IDE when
writing code does catch your errors as you go if you pay attention to them.
Also you should always create small parts of a project at a time so you can
debug them.  So for example write a function that calculates something and
then test it.  Then go on to something else.  That is one way to make sure
you don't get to a point where you have hundreds of errors and no idea what
the problem is.
