I can not support Ken's approach strongly enough, especially for blind programmers. It is called Modular Programming. Create one small module, put in a little code make sure it works and continue adding functionallity until the module and project is complete. After you get experienced you can raw code larger and larger code blocks in a module but always test your module before continuing to another module or it will be very very dificult to fix syntax errors and even worse trying to fix run time errors.

I see Rick is helping you so I won't jump in unless you guys don't getthings going but one thing I do want to mention. VB if you use the IDE when writing code does catch your errors as you go if you pay attention to them. Also you should always create small parts of a project at a time so you candebug them. So for example write a function that calculates something and then test it. Then go on to something else. That is one way to make sureyou don't get to a point where you have hundreds of errors and no idea whatthe problem is.
