I'm interested in any such material that you have and would consider
making it available on
http://NonvisualDevelopment.org

In the U.S., the spirit of the copyright law is for blind people to gain
timely access to information regardless of copyright. From experience
and observation, sighted learners are not interested in plain text
tutorials with no font differentiation or images. No class or book gives
them learning material in such a form: it would be unacceptable.

Archiving such material makes it even less likely that someone intending
to abuse its intent would chance upon it over the web. Unfortunately,
PDFs, though electronic in nature, continue to involve substantial
barriers to effective access by blind people. Given the pace of
technological change, a blind person may never access material that would
enable employment if he or she had to wait for an agency to convert it to
an accessible form. For years, my web site has included archived text
tutorials on technology topics, and no publisher has expressed a concern
to me. Of course, please use discretion so that we can continue to help
one another in this way!

Cheers,
Jamal
