Hi,I've code some things in python (including a few lines for nvda) and don't use a braille display nor a special editor.... I think is just a matter of organization and "visualisation" like we do to understand high math and such abstract things.

Nope, I know that. I was asking about those guys that tell how good is python and how easy is to use it. It could be easy, but not for a blind programmer that can't even use a braille display.Octavian----- Original Message ----- From: "John Greer" <jpgreer17@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, November 21, 2007 6:05 PM Subject: Re: Python - Virtuesand yes Octavian the people and the community that program for NVDA are blind. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Greer" <jpgreer17@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, November 21, 2007 10:00 AM Subject: Re: Python - Virtueslol no, NVDA has not slowed down or stopped. The majority of the work that is being done right now is the virtual buffers for the Firefox browser is being rewritten into C++. To someone that is not a member of the developers list and just watching the snapshot release page it may seem so but, I have seen different. The best way to know though is to join the NVDA mailing lists yourself. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Octavian Rasnita" <orasnita@xxxxxxxxx>To: <programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, November 21, 2007 9:38 AM Subject: Re: Python - VirtuesAre those guys blind? Sad, because someone told me that work on NVDA has slowed down or stopped. Excited because if I can stick to my guns this time, maybe some day I will be able to contribute. I'd also like to convince any Python hackers out here to contribute to NVDA until I can get there. For anyone who does not like Python, please forgive me. Here are two articles by very respected programmers who have been converted. I valuetheir opinions. Bruce Eckel is the author of the famous 'Thinking in Java' and 'Thinking in C++' books. He says that no language has made him more productive than Python. He says that Python is perhaps the only language that focuses on making things easier for the programmer. Read the complete interview http://www.artima.com/intv/aboutmeP.html Eric S. Raymond is the author of'The Cathedral and the Bazaar' and is also the person who coined the term'Open Source'. He says that Python has become his favorite programming language. http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/3882 Thanks for reading.
