Well, I realize this is not exactly what you're looking for, but maybe the following can be of some help. At times Jaws might be able to see some graphics on an application that have not been scripted, and by pressing insert+control+letter G, jaws will run its auto graphics labeler. This script will read the page from top to bottom and automatically label any graphic it "sees and therefore giving the numerical graphic some useful meaning. If you turn on jaws keyboard help by pressing insert+1 on the number row, then hit the insert+control+g hotkey, you can get some detailed information about this script. Press the insert plus control plus letter G twice quickly and you'll get more detailed help as to how this script works. Oh yeah, you can also simply press insert plus letter G to launch the graphics labeler and manually label any graphic you'd like. You can also press insert plus control plus shift plus letter G to gather all graphics in a list. Try jaws help and searching for "graphics labeler" for more detailed info.

Hey folks, Quick question about using Jaws scripts. If I have an application that sends JAWS some poorly chosen audio, is it possible to post process these word choices on the JAWS end? For example, suppose an environment represents a graphic, maybe it says, "Graphic 409." Is it possible to write a script, on the JAWS end, to recognize that it received graphic 409, and change it to something more sensible? (Like, Graphic of a yellow arrow) Any short code samples on how to do this?
