Hi Katherine,
It's better to stick with facts if you are trying to teach something. If you 
are responding to someone who is looking for facts, and you want to state an 
opinion, it would be good to make it obvious that it is your opinion. This list 
is primarily supposed to be for teaching and learning, although our moderator 
is absent and we are policing ourselves.

Well the benefits I speak of are unfortunately only in my opinion.  I just 
think that the CLR is cleaner in the way it handles things like memory 
management and stuff.  That's my big thing with it.

I'll clerify. You're talking about the "benafits" of the clr. You're not going 
to get those benafits (which you still haven't explained) without altering code 
(which wouldn't make it native code) to use the clr.
Garbage collection, for example. You'd need to use ^ for references.
