They can be a bit hit and miss so I personally wouldn't expect brilliance every time. Glad you got it sorted.

Wow, I just had them help me create an account, download and install skype and they were very helpful indeed - did their job well to say the least. Turned out the audio for the captia for adding an account wasnt working properly so Al over there remoted and did the work for me. Quite a nice surprise after having dealing with Amazon and a couple of other "help" desks over the past couple of weeks.

It can be, but JAWS has limited/basic support for touch screen. For example, dragging icons around is not supported. On the IPhone/IPad, every operation 
available to a sighted person is available to a screen reader user.
