âhowever, there are some very valid arguments for using one over the other.

Subject: [program-l] Python: Making Code Run Faster

Hi,
We were talking about this subject a little while back. In case it matters to
you, Learning Python, Third Edition says that for loops are faster than while
loops because for loops use c to speed them up. It says that while loops use
pure Python. This is my non-technical paraphrase of what I was just reading.
The same little section also says that for loops are easier to code and easier
to read.

Thanks.

Jim

Thanks.

Jim
