[program-l] Mainframe and Natural engineer

Hello,
I have just started a new project at work that requires me to access a
mainframe application and use natural engineer.
I use XP and JAWS 12. However, when I open the mainframe application or
natural engineer, JAWS goes quiet. It does not allow me read anything, even
when I change the cursor.
Please is there anyone here who has worked with either mainframe systems or
natural engineer? How did you use it? Thanks in advance.
