> Very interesting...will a server side component be needed? Yes. A separate decoder extension is required. This may be incorporated into phpa in the future, and a version that uses a module instead of an extension and that can be loaded at runtime (i.e. no change necessary to php.ini) is another possible feature for the future. Although appealing, the problem with the latter is that the dl() function that can load modules at run time is disabled in safe mode, and many sites use safe mode. Therefore the extension based approach is offered for maximum security and maximum flexibility as the initial option. There's actually a web based forum on the encoder site specifically for encoder questions, so please feel free to take any encoder related discussions onto there. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ www.php-accelerator.co.uk Home of the free PHP Accelerator To post, send email to phpa@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe, email phpa-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with subject unsubscribe
