It is an LCD, only two years old. I don't have a video card. Computer is 
a cheap Dell that is about a year old. I'm sure it has onboard video.

I have an old 17 inch LCD monitor I can use in an emergency. It is a 
Planar. I expected the Acer to be a better monitor but I guess this one 
isn't. LOL
